5-4-3-2-1 Sensory Grounding

Name 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste

3-5 minutes

Box Breathing

Breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4, breathe out for 4, hold for 4. Repeat.

2-3 minutes

Physical Grounding

Press your feet firmly into the floor, feel the surface beneath you

Temperature Shift

Hold ice cubes or splash cold water on your face to reset your nervous system

Count backwards from 100 by 7s, or recite something you have memorized
