Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy describes, in specific terms, the health information Genesis World Health collects, why we collect it, where it comes from, who receives it, and the choices you have. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

What This Policy Covers
Genesis World Health is a consumer wellness service. We are not a healthcare provider, we do not practice medicine, and we are not a HIPAA covered entity. Because we nonetheless handle information about your body, your health, and your wellbeing, that information is treated in this policy as consumer health data.
Consumer health data means any information we collect that identifies you and relates to your past, present, or future physical or mental health status. That includes information you type into an assessment, symptoms you log, questions you ask our AI specialists, and conclusions our system draws from what you have told us.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Genesis World Health, and specifically supports the rights granted to residents of Washington under the My Health My Data Act, residents of Nevada under SB 370, and residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws that treat health information as sensitive data.

Who Receives Your Consumer Health Data
We do not sell your consumer health data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, insurers, employers, or social media platforms.
These are the only categories of recipient, and this is exactly what each one receives:
Our AI processing provider
Genesis World Health does not train or run its own language models. To generate your insights and to answer your questions, we send your health context and your messages to Abacus.AI, the platform that hosts the AI models behind our specialists.
What is sent: your assessment content including conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, diet, exercise, sleep, stress, goals, age, gender, and faith tradition if you provided one, together with the text of your questions and the conversation history needed for context.
Why: this transmission is what produces your personalized insights. It is not optional while you use the AI features, because there is no way to generate a response without sending the question.
Restriction: this provider processes the data to return a response to us. It is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes or for marketing.
Our payment processor
Stripe processes subscription and purchase payments. It receives your email address and an account identifier, along with the amount and the plan or product purchased.
No health data is sent to Stripe. Your assessment, insights, conversations, and tracking data are never transmitted to our payment processor.
Our email delivery service
Transactional messages such as email verification, password reset, and account confirmations are delivered through a third-party email service, which receives your email address and the contents of the message being sent to you.
Google Analytics, only if you consent
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics receives the pages you visit and the page titles. Because some of those pages are health features, this reveals that you are using health tools such as the assessment, the chat, or your insights.
What is never sent: no symptom, condition, medication, question text, assessment answer, insight content, or account identifier is sent to Google Analytics.
If you choose Essential Only in our cookie banner, the analytics script is never loaded and no information is sent to Google at all. You can change this choice at any time from your privacy settings.
People you choose to share with
If you deliberately share your insights with someone, such as a practitioner you work with, that recipient receives what you sent them. This only happens on your instruction, and you control what is included.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm. We will notify you of such a request where we are legally permitted to do so.
Consent and Your Choices
We ask for your consent separately for separate purposes. Agreeing to one does not sign you up for the others.
- Collecting your health data. You provide health information voluntarily when you complete an assessment, ask a question, or log an entry. You are never required to complete any particular field, though leaving fields blank reduces how personalized your insights can be.
- Sending your health data to our AI provider. This is inherent to the AI features and is disclosed above. If you do not want your health information sent to an AI processor, do not use the assessment, chat, council, or deep dive features.
- Analytics cookies. Off by default. Nothing is sent to Google Analytics unless you actively accept. You can withdraw this at any time.
- Marketing email. Separate and optional. We do not send marketing text messages. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect transactional messages such as password resets.
- Sharing with a third party you nominate. Requires a specific action from you each time. We never share on your behalf by default.
Withdrawing consent stops future processing for that purpose. It does not undo processing that already took place while consent was in effect.
Your Rights Over Your Consumer Health Data
- Access. Confirm whether we hold health data about you and obtain a copy. You can export your data yourself from your account settings at any time.
- Know who received it. Request a list of the third parties with whom your health data has been shared. The categories are listed above.
- Correct. Fix inaccurate information in your assessment, profile, or tracking entries. Most of this you can edit directly.
- Delete. Ask us to delete your health data. You can delete your account and its associated data from your settings, or write to us and we will do it for you.
- Withdraw consent. Turn off analytics, unsubscribe from marketing, or revoke a share you previously authorized.
- Non-discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will not degrade your service or change your price.
- Appeal. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our response. We will review the appeal and respond in writing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity through the email address on your account and respond within 45 days, or tell you within that period if we need more time.
We Do Not Sell Consumer Health Data
Genesis World Health has never sold consumer health data, does not sell it, and will not sell it.
We do not exchange your health information for money or for anything else of value. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We run no advertising pixels, no ad network tags, and no session-recording tools of any kind.
Should this ever change, we would obtain your separate, written, opt-in authorization first. A general acceptance of this policy would not be sufficient.
How We Protect It
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. On top of that baseline, your health assessment and the health context attached to your generated insights receive an additional layer of application level encryption, so those specific records are stored in an encrypted form rather than as readable text.
Other health records, including daily logs, tracked measurements, and conversation history, are protected by the encryption of the underlying storage and by access controls, but are not separately encrypted at the application layer. We state this plainly so you can judge for yourself what to record.
Access to health data is limited to the systems and personnel that need it to operate the service, and access is logged.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your health data for as long as your account is active, because the service depends on it. Your assessment informs your insights, your tracking history is what produces your trends, and your conversation history is what lets a specialist pick up where you left off.
Conversations with AI specialists are retained so that you can refer back to them. If you would rather they were not kept, you can delete individual conversations from your account.
When you delete your account, we delete your health data. Records we are required to keep for legal or financial reasons, such as payment records, are retained for the period the law requires and nothing longer.
We are in the process of publishing a category-by-category retention schedule. Until it is published, the description above is the accurate statement of our practice.
Age Requirement
Genesis World Health is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect health data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with health information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change how we collect, use, or share consumer health data, we will update this page and notify you by email or through a notice in the application before the change takes effect. Where a change requires your consent, we will ask for it rather than assume it.
